Kitchen Almost Ready

A kitchen renovation can cost mega $$ so, in this case, it’s better that I rent.  But a cosmetic rejuvenation can be found in a gallon [well, we get 3.74 litres now :-(] of paint.

Right now, this is the only room where I have finished painting — ceiling, walls, & even the trim.  The time-consuming cupboard doors & drawer fronts are done — only the inside shelves wait for me . . . later.

It’s been over a month but I can’t reveal the finished kitchen yet.  One little, but important job still to do — it’ll probably take me an hour or so.

When the previous owner had re-tiled the kitchen & hallway [sticky vinyl 12″ squares], a small gap was left — right under the kitchen cupboard kickplates.

Luckily, they left 2 of the squares so all I have to do is cut the narrow pieces required to cover the old floor.

I’m determined to get it done this week — no more excuses — one short hour of my day.

Just to tease you — here’s a little peek at the ceiling:
